Product
Nicotine Pre-spread is a ready for use first layer, composed of alkali-resistant, plasticizer-free and non-saponifiable acrylics, various aggregates and pigments, fine fillers.

Specific use
Nicotine Pre-spread is a special first layer for masonry paint and is used where discoloration to brown can not be prevented from the base in the finishing layers of masonry paints.

Characteristics
Nicotine Pre-spread binds discolouring substances of nicotine through smoke deposit, old plaster layers and board materials (fibreboards) and, as result, prevents discolorations of the masonry paint.
Provides an excellent adherence with further finishing layers, is breathing and waterproof.

Processing temperature
Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5°C.

Method of application
Nicotine Pre-spread is applied undiluted in one layer with brush or roller.
Drying time at least 8 hours.

Consumption
Dependent on the base + 4 m²/kg.

Packing/Contents
In plastic buckets of 2, 5 and 10 kg.

Surface
The surface must be dry and free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint (wipe resistant, whitewash coats).
Powdery surfaces must be pre-treated with Undercoat (see separate product information sheet).

Storage
Protect against heat and frost.

Remark
Nicotine Pre-spread can discolour because of reaction with the polluted bases. This has no influence on the process and final result.
