DIGO TROWEL PLASTER

Product
Trowel Plaster is a decorative plaster for indoor and outdoor use having a very beautiful structure, without mineral binders. It consists of an alkali-resistant, plasticizer-free, synthetic resin dispersion, fine and coarse fillers and pigments. Trowel Plaster is available in two types. The only distinction is a minor difference in structure and consumption.

Specific use
Digo Trowel Plaster is suitable for any sound surface on indoor and outdoor walls including cement, cellular concrete, chipboard, gypsum board and fixed layers of paint.

Characteristics
Digo Trowel Plaster is weather and water resistant, optimally breathing, scratch resistant, has good adhesion and is easy to apply.

Colour
Available according to an elaborate colour spectrum.
Various lots can show small differences in colour. In order to prevent colour differences, it is advised to order the total quantity required for a project. Always mix different lots with each other.

Processing temperature
Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5°C.

Method of application
Trowel Plaster is applied with a stainless steel trowel or spraying equipment (e.g. funnel pistol). When using a trowel, Trowel Plaster must be applied at grain thickness. Abrade trowel marks. When using spraying equipment, spray until an even structure is obtained.

Consumption
Trowel Plaster extra fine: ± 2 kg per m²
Trowel Plaster fine: ± 2½ kg per m²
Trowel Plaster middle: ± 3 kg per m²
Trowel Plaster coarse: ± 4 kg per m²

Packing/Contents
In plastic buckets of 8 and 17 kg.

Surface
The surface must be dry and free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint (wipe resistant, whitewash coats). Powdery surfaces must be pre-treated with Undercoat. See separate product information sheet. Always pre-treat the surface in colour with primer. See separate product information sheet. Surfaces that can cause discoloration, pre-treat with nicotine primer. See separate product information sheet.

Storage
Protect against heat and frost.

Remark
Trowel Plaster can be cleaned with all kinds of cleaners except solvents. Trowel Plaster can be painted over. Digo ornamental plasters must always be applied with stainless steel tools. In the case of strong wind and bright sunlight, precautions against fast drying must be taken.
