Product
Cement Coat is a water-based solvent-free transparent coating on the basis of acrylics and special aggregates.
Specific use
Cement Coat is applied as a protective transparent coating over internal finishing on the basis of cement. It can also be used as a protective top layer over various other types of porous wall finishing. .
Characteristics
Cement Coat is a transparent and solvent-free coating. Cement Coat is delivered ready for use and gives a light glow and deeper colours to the surface. The treated surface gets a water-repellent coating by using Cement Coat in multiple layers.
Method of application
Apply Cement Coat in thin layers with a paint roller or brush in such a way that an even surface is obtained. Multiple layers are necessary for a good result. The best result is obtained by applying multiple layers wet in wet. The applied layer of Cement Coat can also be dry before a next layer is applied.
Processing temperature
Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 10°C.
The drying time is dependent on temperature and degree of humidity.
Surface
The base must be free from debris, dry, clean and grease-free.
Consumption
Dependent on the surface upto 0.05 litre per m² per layer.
Determine the exact use by means of a test surface.
Packing/Contents
In buckets of 1, 2 and 5 litres.
Storage
Protect against heat and frost.
