DIGO C.B. MORTAR-M
Playtree in Plopsaland (Dalem)

Product
C.B. Mortar-M is a powdery product. It consists of fine and coarse mineral components, hydraulic binders and aggregates.
Specific use
C.B. Mortar-M is used for forming/modelling objects on rough stony surfaces and surfaces of mortar carriers such as stucanet and lath. For outdoor and indoor use.
Characteristics
C.B.Mortar-M is shock-resistant and hardens rapidly. Processing time is ±15 minutes.
High and/or low temperatures exert an influence on the processing time.
C.B Mortar-M can be delivered in standard colours on request.
Lowest processing temperature
Do not use C.B. Mortar-M when the outside temperature and/or the temperature of the material can drop below +5°C during drying.
Method of application
C.B. Mortar-M is prepared with 4.5 litres of water per 25 kg. Apply the mortar with a trowel or worm gear pump in a layer thickness of 5 to 20 mm. Apply multiple layers with thicker layers, of which the first layer must be coarse and dry before the next layer is applied. After sufficient drying, ± 20 to 40 minutes, the mortar is modelled in the desired forms by scraping, sandpapering the mortar etc.
Consumption
Project-dependent.
On a flat surface ±1.6 kg per m2 per mm layer thickness.
Packing/Contents
In sacks of 25 kg.
Surface
The surface must be dry, free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint.
Pre-treat coarse surfaces with a pre-spread binding agent in order to eliminate strong absorption. Pre-treat smooth and non-absorbing surfaces with Stuc-Contact.
Storage
Store dry and free from moisture.
C.B.Mortar-M has a limited storage life. Humid and longer storage periods inhibit hardening.
Remark
In the case of strong wind and bright sunlight, precautions against fast drying must be taken. Temperature differences exert an influence on the processing time. When mechanically applying the mortar, immediately clean the machine and hoses after processing.
